Welcome to Forsa, the innovative platform that promotes a culture of volunteering and connects individuals with Entites. By using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy.

Definitions

In these Terms:

Platform/We/Forsa: The legal entity operating the "Forsa" platform.
User: Any person who creates an account or uses the platform.
Volunteer: A user who applies to or participates in a volunteering opportunity.
Organizer: Any entity (association, foundation, volunteer team, company, etc.) that creates opportunities or manages events via the platform.
Opportunity: Any volunteer activity/opportunity published on the platform.
Content: Any text, image, video, or other material uploaded by users or published by the platform.

1. Acceptance & Changes

Your access to and use of the site mean you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Forsa reserves the right to modify the Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes via an in-site notice or email within a reasonable period before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated version.

2. Registration & Accounts

The platform accepts registration by individuals (citizens or residents) from age 7 and above.
Minors (under 18): Registration and participation must be under the supervision and with the consent of a parent/legal guardian and are under their full responsibility.
Users aged 18+ may register and participate independently.
If you create an opportunity, you are responsible for obtaining all required licenses/approvals from the competent authorities and providing proof when creating the opportunity.
Users are responsible for the accuracy of the data they provide, maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password, and for any activities conducted through their account.
You must notify the Forsa team immediately in case of any security breach or unauthorized use.

Child & Disability Safeguarding Note: If opportunities involve children/minors or persons with disabilities, you must comply with safeguarding and safety policies (qualified adult supervision and an emergency plan).

3. About the Platform & Its Role

Forsa is a non-profit platform that connects volunteers with Entites and aims to help individuals find volunteer opportunities aligned with their interests and aspirations.
The legal and executive relationship is directly between the volunteer and the Entity.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, outcomes, availability, or obligations of any opportunity.
Any dealings that occur outside the platform after initial contact are solely the responsibility of the parties involved.

4. Volunteers' Obligations

Comply with local laws and any instructions issued by the host Entity.
Respect the human and ethical values associated with volunteer work.
Prohibited: Misuse of the platform; identity impersonation; fraud or deception of users; distributing malware; automated data collection/scraping without prior written permission; attempting to hack or conduct unauthorized security testing; or any illegal activity.

5. Creating Volunteer Opportunities (Entity/Volunteer Team)

Entites and volunteer teams may create volunteer opportunities via the platform.
The creator (Entites/team) is responsible for obtaining all required government permits/licenses before publishing and must provide proof when creating the opportunity.
When involving minors, guardian consent and qualified supervision are mandatory.
Forsa reserves the right to refuse or remove any event that violates the law or platform policies or poses clear safety risks.
Any legal violations or damages arising from the event are the sole responsibility of the organizer (Entites/team), with no liability on Forsa.
Safety first: Provide a safe environment, an emergency plan, and an emergency contact point.

6. Obligations of Entites & Volunteer Teams

Offer genuine volunteer opportunities with clear objectives.
Bear full responsibility for the accuracy of published content and for management during execution.
Do not exploit volunteers for commercial work outside the scope of volunteering.
Obtain necessary governmental licenses/approvals (if any) and provide proof when creating the opportunity.
The Entites alone is responsible for any disputes, damages, or legal violations arising from its activities.
Child protection: Apply strict safeguarding when involving anyone under 18, including qualified supervision, a safe environment, and an emergency plan.

7. Financial Rewards & Allowances

Some Entites may provide financial rewards or allowances to volunteers for their participation.
The Entites alone is responsible for paying or honoring these rewards.
Forsa has no financial obligations toward volunteers.

8. Content & Interactions

Users are responsible for any content they submit or share via the platform.
It is prohibited to publish any illegal, offensive, or harmful content.
All content posted by users expresses their own opinions and responsibility, and Forsa assumes no legal liability for it.
Forsa reserves the right to remove any violating content at any time without prior notice.

9. Ads & Non-Volunteer Events

The platform may display advertisements or non-volunteer events in a designated section.
Such ads are published for informational or promotional purposes; Forsa is not responsible for their content or accuracy.
The appearance of ads does not constitute Forsa's endorsement.

10. Photos, Media & Media Coverage

Photos/videos may be captured during volunteer opportunities or other events by the platform team, volunteers, Entites, or independent media entities.

These materials may be used for:

Documenting the event on the platform.
Inclusion in reports or awareness campaigns.
Publishing on Forsa's social media channels.
General media coverage is outside our control.

Your attendance at an event implies your consent to the possibility of your appearance in photos/videos and to their permitted use.
Forsa bears no responsibility for photos/videos produced by independent media entities, which are subject to their own policies.

11. Third-Party Apps & Services

The platform may include links to our integrations with external services. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
We are not responsible for content or malfunctions resulting from those services.

12. Intellectual Property

All design, software, and trademarks of the platform are owned by or licensed to Forsa.
You may not reuse or exploit platform content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

Your use of the platform is at your own risk.

Forsa is not liable for:

The accuracy or completeness of displayed opportunity data.
Any indirect or consequential damage (including loss of data or opportunities).
Any disputes or disagreements between volunteers and Entites.
Injuries or personal damage during participation—the organizer must provide a safe environment.
Service interruptions due to factors beyond control (e.g., natural disasters, government decisions, or widespread technical outages).

Forsa is liable only to the extent that liability cannot be excluded under Kuwaiti law.

14. Indemnity

The user (individual or Entites) agrees to indemnify Forsa for any claims, losses, or damages arising from a breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait.
Any dispute shall be referred to the competent Kuwaiti courts.
Optional: Parties may first seek amicable mediation before litigation.

16. Termination

Forsa may suspend or terminate the account of any user or Entites in case of a breach of the Terms or misuse of the platform.
Certain provisions—such as Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnity—survive account termination.
